FOREIGN RIGHTS

For over 15 years, Aletria has been publishing children's and young adult books that stir minds and touch hearts. Based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, we are a publishing house fully dedicated to good literature for young readers, from board books for babies to novels for teens.

Our catalogue includes award-winning and internationally recognized titles across our imprints: Aletria, focused on children's and YA fiction and nonfiction, as well as books for teacher training and reading mediation; Alebebê, dedicated to books for children from 0 to 3 years old, combining aesthetic and narrative quality for the very first readers; and Alegriô, devoted to celebrating Afro-Brazilian, African, and Indigenous literature.

Since our founding in 2009, Aletria's books have earned recognition abroad. "Bichos," by Ronaldo Simões Coelho and Angela Lago, was selected for the White Ravens catalogue by the International Youth Library, in Munich — one of the most respected annual selections of outstanding children's and YA books worldwide.

Aletria is also a regular participant at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, in Italy, the world's leading trade event for children's publishing, where we present our catalogue to publishers, agents, and rights buyers from around the globe.
